When a new camera is introduced into the market Adobe needs to create a profile for that specific camera model and update the ACR Plugin before the file can be rendered. Photoshop uses a Plugin, ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) to render the raw data from your raw files. They are not viewable image files and require your camera firmware to render the raw data and produce a viewable file like a jpeg or tiff file. Can you tell me if I'm doing something wrong? I tried the bridge but when I select the raw files I can't select the Open in camera Raw command. It says Sorry could not process these files. I tried Scripts/Image Processor and it doesn't work. I want to convert RAW (CR2) files to TIFF format using Photoshop.
